Meet the challenges of harnessing electrical energy cleanly and efficiently.

Â鶹´«Ã½ is excited to offer a new B.S. in Electrical Engineering program, where students will learn the practical skills needed to begin careers as Electrical Engineers, particularly in the areas of electrical machines, power systems, and power electronics. Through their coursework, students will gain the deep technical knowledge necessary to stay up-to-date with the rapid changes in the industry throughout their career. With internship and project opportunities, students will acquire job-ready skills that will enable them to work productively from the outset.

Graduates of the Electrical Engineering program will propose, design, and implement control strategies to regulate, optimize, and protect the electrical grid and its components; model electromechanical, generation, transmission, and distribution systems mathematically; and design and implement systems that improve the efficiency and improve the environmental impact of electrical energy production and distribution.

lists average starting salary for electrical engineering graduates as $70,600.
