Â鶹´«Ã½ Sets New Enrollment Record for Fall 2024

Â鶹´«Ã½ has achieved a historic milestone, setting a new enrollment record for the fall 2024 semester. With over 6,900 registered students, the university surpassed its previous enrollment high of 6,679 in the fall of 2015. Factoring in the students from St. Augustine College , acquired by Lewis in December 2023, the total number of students enrolled now exceeds 7,700. "Students and families are increasingly recognizing the academic excellence and tremendous return on investment that a Lewis education provides," said Dr. David J. Livingston, President of Â鶹´«Ã½. "As a modern, enterprising university, Lewis is defined by its dynamic approach to education, strategic growth initiatives, and unwavering commitment to our mission and values." This record-setting performance is a testament to Â鶹´«Ã½'s forward-looking approach to higher education. Despite challenges faced across the higher education landscape, Lewis continues to distinguish itself through its strong enrollment and innovative programs. Notably, the university will launch a new Doctor of Physical Therapy program in January 2025, further solidifying its leadership in healthcare education. "We now offer academic programs ranging from GED through doctoral levels to meet students where they are and provide educational opportunities that will transform their lives," Dr. Livingston emphasized. "The future for our students is very bright." The final census date enrollment data will be confirmed at the end of September.
